McKayla Miller, DVM
Associate Veterinarian

University of Vermont,
BS in Animal Sciences in 2019

The Ohio State University,
DVM in 2023

Dr. McKayla Miller grew up in the small town of Ancramdale, New York. She may not have lived on a farm, but with a father who raised many types of livestock as a child and a mother that rode horses as a girl, a love for large animals was almost destined to take root. Helping to manage three horses in her backyard helped with that, too!

Knowing that she wanted to work with animals in some capacity, Dr. Miller attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate studies. During her final year there, she was given the opportunity to work on the university’s student-run dairy farm, where her love of cattle began. She then worked on a sheep farm during lambing season in the time between graduation and beginning veterinary school. All things (and animals) considered, it was no surprise Dr. Miller began veterinary school at The Ohio State University wanting to work with large animals, and recently graduated with the same mind set.

Dr. Miller lives with her husband Jackson, who is also a veterinarian that works with small animals/exotics in Lehigh County. They have two dogs, Solaire (golden retriever) and Revna (rescue mutt), that they enjoy taking for hikes and swimming. In her free time, Dr. Miller also enjoys reading, spending time outside doing most anything, and traveling.
